να πραγματοποιήσει το Black
Rock studios στο Ακρωτήρι της Σαντορίνης υπό την επιμέλεια
του δημιουργού του χώρου και γνωστού ηχολήπτη Κώστα Καλημέρη.
Οι ηχογραφίσεις θα
πραγματοποιηθούν το διάστημα 18 – 21 Σεπτεβρίου.

Jacob Hellner has been producing records with Ulf
Kruckenberg as engineer for almost 20 years. Apart from their work with
Rammstein they have also worked with Apocalyptica and Clawfinger amongst
others. Now they will hold a masterclass at Black Rock studios Sep 18-21.
The art of recording high gain guitars and modern
drums is a challenge for anyone and during this masterclass Jacob and Ulf will
share the Hellner/Kruckenberg way of making records. An indepth look at the
whole signal chain of the guitar, from choice of picks via the tubes in the amp
to the microphone and its preamp.
What kind of drums will match the power of high gain
guitars? We will look at how different drums, how they are tuned and how they
are recorded will match up against the guitars. How are the drums treated as
the production grows?
What style of programming works best in this sonic
environment? How are we preparing for the mix ? Mixing
techniques. Jacob will share his thoughts on production in
general, from preproduction to the final master.
