Επιβεβαιώνεται η δυναμική του τουρισμού για το 2013, καθώς με βάση τα στοιχεία που παρουσίασε ο ΣΕΤΕ, στο 9μηνο του έτους μέσω των 17 μεγαλύτερων αεροδρομίων της χώρας έφτασαν στην Ελλάδα 11,4 εκατομμύρια ξένοι επισκέπτες, έναντι 10,3 εκατομμυρίων το αντίστοιχο διάστημα του 2012 (+10,23%).

Στο σύνολο των αεροδρομίων υπήρξε αύξηση με εξαίρεση τη Σάμο, όπου οι αφίξεις παρουσίασαν μείωση 3,95%.

«Πρωταθλητές» το αεροδρόμιο της Καλαμάτας (+49,74%), της Μυκόνου (+27,38%) και της Σαντορίνης (+21,20%).

Καλά είναι τα νέα και από το μέτωπο της κρουαζιέρας, όπου για παράδειγμα στην Κέρκυρα οι ημερήσιοι επισκέπτες τον Σεπτέμβριο ξεπέρασαν για το τρίτο συνεχόμενο μήνα τους 100.000.

Υπενθυμίζεται ότι οι προβλέψεις για όλο το 2013 κάνουν λόγο για 17,5 εκατομμύρια ξένους επισκέπτες και έσοδα άνω των 11,5 δισ. ευρώ.

Kalamata, Santorini, Heraklion Champions in Tourist Arrivals

The arrivals of foreign tourists at the airports around Greece recorded an important increase, according to the first (temporary) data for September 2013 that were published by the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE).

According to the data for the period from January to September 2013, all the main holiday destinations of the country recorded a rise in arrivals, except for Samos, where a decrease of 3.94 percent was recorded. In detail, the largest rise in the nine-month period was recorded at Kalamata Airport, where arrivals increased by 50.36 percent which is translated in absolute numbers to 53,507 foreign tourists. Santorini followed with a 21.23 percent rise and a total of 236,554 arrivals.

Arrivals also rose significantly at Heraklion Airport “Nikos Kazantzakis” in Crete by 17.66 percent, counting the biggest number of foreign arrivals, 2,318,122.

A double-digit was the rise for Corfu and Rhodes too, with 11.62 percent and 10.8 percent respectively. Rhodes received 1,672 foreign tourists and Corfu 892,202.

This data is under continuous updating until their collection from all the main airports in the country, when the overall change for September 2013 will be available.
